Professional/Business Experience

Before pursuing professional coaching and starting my own business, I worked in the scientific and medical device industry for over 20 years in various technical and leadership positions. Most of my traditional career was spent at Medtronic, an internationally operated medical device company. In this field, I was part of teams that brought innovative life-saving devices to people around the world, including the world’s smallest pacemaker. During my time in these technical and leadership roles, I have developed team building skills that have been immensely useful in my current profession as an Empowerment coach.

My work in the international space has challenged my understanding of diverse people and environments leading to further development of my observational and empathic strengths. These opportunities have opened up my curious nature and allowed me to adapt quickly to the people around me which has made my transition to coaching natural and continuously rewarding.

When I’m not coaching, I love spending time with my partner and our two children whether it’s a lazy day at home or on an adventurous holiday away. I also love spending time outdoors in the wilderness or in my garden. I enjoy reading, needle crafts, and drawing.
