Laurie is an Executive Coach who specializes in leadership development with an emphasis on effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Laurie has been a coach for over 15 years. She works with her clients to address their needs while maintaining a continuous connection to the organizational needs and expectations of the client company. Laurie works with assumptions, beliefs, and emotional intelligence, while also focusing on the needs and interest of an individual. She assists her clients in navigating through difficult conversations while maintaining their self-respect and integrity.

Laurie has worked with executive officers, directors, and mid-level managers in a variety of industries. Results have produced visible, sustained change in behavior and relationships such as increased agreement and cooperation from colleagues, staff members, and clients.
Laurie blends the disciplines of organization development, conflict resolution, and integral coaching in her work. Past work has included building communication skills, idea generation, team building, and training. Her work is results oriented with attention to relationship building where solutions are created and implemented. She places great emphasis on interpersonal communication and management skills. Laurie fosters communication and understanding between management and staff through facilitation and mediation. Currently, she is a mediator and mediation training coach at the Center for Conflict Resolution, (CCR), in Chicago, Illinois. Laurie also trains and coaches mediation students at many prominent law schools and firms throughout the Chicago and Illinois area.
Laura has an MS in Organization Development, a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting and is an ICF Certified Coach.
