Marcella is the Director of AACSB Administration and the Center for Innovation in the Business of Health Care at the Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas.

Professional/Business Experience

Marcella has held leadership positions in quality management, LEAN, medical education, and faculty development at the Alliance of Academic Medical Centers, HealthPartners, and Children’s of Minnesota. She has been awarded for her leadership and passion in advancing medical education and addressing disparities and equity. She focused her research on the experience of foreign-born physicians in the United States.

Marcella has helped clients with relocation and re-entry while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness and has coached her clients to experience a seamless re-integration while processing cultural shock. Her work has included corporate clients from 3M, Honeywell, Toro, Delta, Cargill, General Mills.

Marcella has an Ed.D in Organization Development from the University of St. Thomas, an M.A. in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University, and is an ICF Certified Coach.
