Dave Gromacki is a Senior Director, Customer Solutions at LAK Group. He has over 25 years of experience in management and talent management, designing high-value talent and leadership solutions. Dave is a seasoned advisor who works with senior leaders to create, plan, and deliver programs that maximize their talent and team investments. He is recognized as a veteran strategist who can identify cost-effective solutions that generate significant competitive advantage while building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
Before joining LAK Group, Dave served as Senior Vice President – Area Sales Director for a global talent solutions provider offering advisory, career transition & mobility, learning & development, and recruitment solutions. He has experience with talent assessment for selection, development, team effectiveness, and high-potential identification across a wide range of roles, from individual contributors to the C-suite.
Dave has delivered executive coaching and career consulting to external clients from various functions, such as sales, HR, and finance, within crucial leadership roles. He has also delivered talent management consulting and solutions to world-class organizations, including GE Healthcare, Abbott, Baxter, Cummins, Johnson Controls, and Northwestern Mutual.
Previously, Dave spent six years as Chief Operating Officer for the largest multi-service provider of social services in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. During this time, he drove significant improvement in cash flow from operations, from ($3.2M) in 2012 to break even in 2018 through strategic divestments of approximately $10M, while adding $10M in new, more profitable programming.
Dave is a strategic leader who increased employee engagement, invested in leadership and employee development, and provided choice in employee benefits plans – resulting in a 27% reduction in annual turnover.
Outside of work, Dave is an accomplished musician and member of three bands in Southeastern Wisconsin. He also played Division 1 college football and was a member of both college conference championship and high school state championship teams.
